DESCRIPTION:MatheMagic!™ is a real theatrical magic show with music\, cos
 tumes\, comedy\, and illusions.  In this fun format\, kids (unknowingly) p
 ractice classroom skills\, i.e.\, math facts and problem-solving.\n\nIn th
 e course of the show\, we discover that the first “magicians” were rea
 lly mathematicians!  (By using math they were able to “do the impossible
 ”.)  We then go on to learn about mathematical contributions from the Eg
 yptians\, Greeks\, Romans\, Indians\, Chinese and other cultures.  This ap
 proach enables us to engage and challenge students of different ages and a
 bilities with facts and ideas they can all understand.  There is audience 
 participation throughout in which thinking skills are encouraged.\n\nConta
 ct Arts On Stage for Tickets. Two showtimes at 10:15am and 12 Noon. Approp
 riate for grades 1-5.
