The Baccalaureate Ceremony celebrating the Class of 2025 will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 4:30 p.m. in Haebler Memorial Chapel. This annual tradition offers a quiet and intimate opportunity for graduating seniors to pause and reflect on their Goucher College Experience.

Baccalaureate is a tradition at many colleges and universities dating back to the 1400’s at Oxford University in England. We continue this tradition at Goucher through an interfaith ceremony featuring music, dance, poetry and reflection.

Baccalaureate is a powerful part of the graduation experience marking the significance of this important time and reflecting on one’s collegiate journey. Faculty, staff, graduates, friends, and families are highly encouraged to attend.
