Communicating Sustainability: An International Conversation for Sustainability Activists

On September 6 & 7, add your voice to the international discussion Communicating Sustainability: An International Conversation with Sustainability Activists. Presented both in-person and online, featured speakers and presenters include Dr. Tim Frandy, Assistant Professor of Nordic Studies, University of British Columbia; Queen Nur, internationally renowned storyteller, teaching artist, folklorist, and MACS Alumnae; and Halle Butvin, Director of Special Projects at Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.

This two-day gathering offers opportunities to explore key questions around sustainability practices and develop strategies for collaborative solutions.  Whether your focus is cultural, environmental, economic, or social, please join us to share your experiences, challenges, solutions, and stories.
