Community Common Hour featuring Lavontria Miché Aaron

Join us in the Forum for October's community-wide common hour.  We'll hear from Miché Aaron, a Ph.D. candidate at Johns Hopkins University's Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.   Aaron's efforts to gather resources for underrepresented minority and low-income graduate students in STEM fields put her at the center of a conversation about the barriers that need to be addressed for this population of students, and the role of women of color in mentoring and advocating for others.   Her talk is entitled "Oxalates, Obstacles, and Overcoming Imposters Syndrome:  Making It Without Faking It Through Grad School."
