  students in prison\, underscoring Goucher’s commitment to educational a
 ccess and to equipping students with the knowledge and skills to be engage
 d citizens and change makers. Attendees will learn about GPEP as a partner
 ship between Goucher and the Maryland state prison system as well as its n
 ew initiatives\, future plans and how you can get involved. You will also 
 learn about recent student research focused specifically on the rights of 
 incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people and the work of former GPEP 
 students to advocate for those rights in the local and national community.
