About this Event
Buchner Hall of the Alumnae/i House, Towson, MD 21286, USA
#ConstitutionDayProfessor Jenia Turner (Goucher Class of '99) of SMU's Dedman School of Law will deliver this year's Constitution Day Lecture. U.S. Constitution regulates how law enforcement investigate criminal cases, but the relevant constitutional provisions pre-date the use of electricity and the invention of telephones, computers, and the Internet. Can longstanding constitutional text and doctrine be adapted to meet the challenges of crime and policing in the digital age? How have courts and legislatures addressed these questions, and what challenges remain?
