Education in Authoritarian Times

In light of Goucher College's decision last semester to contract with GardaWorld, the Center for Geographies of Justice presents a town hall discussion around that and the more general pressing issue of "Education in Authoritarian Times", featuring very short opening remarks by:

Martin Shuster (Philosophy): "College and Self Formation in Authoritarian Times"

Carla Barqueiro (International Relations): "What’s College For? Fighting the Neoliberal Turn in Higher Education"

Seble Dawit (Peace Studies): "Universities as Human Rights Actors"

Remarks to be followed by a community wide discussion. All are welcome.
