Gabe & His Green Thumb and Khalil’s Way

Baltimore native David Miller, M.Ed. ‘97 has received international acclaim for Dare to Be King: What If the Prince Lives. Miller frequently leads intergenerational conversations with men and boys focused on boyhood, fatherhood, parenting, mental health, managing anger, decision making, healthy relationships and alternatives to violence. Gabe & His Green Thumb is an exciting story about a boy who rediscovers the power of growing food, and is ideal for students grades 1-3. Khalil's Way, an exciting illustrated children’s novel highlights the journey of Khalil Joseph, an 11-year-old boy growing up in a tough New Orleans community. Khalil’s Way is a great chapter book for young readers, ideal for students 4th grade and up. Eastern Time Zone
