 we reflect on her time at Goucher and how Goucher prepared her for her car
 eer in science.\n\nPulupa graduated from Goucher with degrees in physics a
 nd biological science. She went on to study molecular machines at Rockefel
 ler University\, where she earned her PhD. During her graduate training\, 
 she developed methods to monitor protein dynamics in living cells using po
 larized light microscopy\, revealing new insights into nuclear pore biolog
 y. Dr. Pulupa is now a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University\, where
