Join host, Jenn da Rosa, EdD, for a virtual workshop with environmental educator, Peggy Eppig. This webinar, Goucher Environmental Dialogues: Natural Journaling Workshop, is on Monday, Nov 4, from noon-1 pm ET. In this workshop Dr. Peggy Eppig will share the art and science of nature journaling. Nature journaling involves documenting your observations, questions, connections, and explanations in a notebook using words, pictures, and numbers. You don't need to be an artist or a naturalist to start. These skills are accessible to anyone and can be honed through practice. Recommended: have paper and pencil ready (or colored pencils) for this session.

Peggy Eppig is a lecturer at Goucher College in undergraduate and graduate Environmental Studies. She serves as ranger-educator and project coordinator for the Lancaster Conservancy where she applies ecology and landscape history to her work in ecological restoration and public education. Her research includes pilgrimage studies and environmental history. Peggy earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from Antioch University New England and her B.F.A. from Maryland College of Art.
