 ector at the Mental Health Association of Maryland and leads a program tha
 t oversees the quality of services in the public behavioral health system.
  As a certified yoga teacher from the University of Maryland\, Center for 
 Integrated Medicine\, she leads trauma-informed classes and teaches nervou
 s system regulation. “Wyer writes with the eye and ear of a poet\, her p
 rose spare and resonant\, her perceptions original\, quiet\, strange\, and
  strangely moving\, as when she describes silence as ‘the tsk tsk of str
 aw brooms cleaning some corner\, some hallway.’ Wyer shows us ways of ex
