Goucher Choirs Fall Concert

The Goucher Choirs will present their fall concert program alongside a number of guest artists, including Goucher College president, Jose Bowen.
The program begins with works by Estonian composer Part Uusberg and Scottish composer James MacMillan, performed by the Goucher Chamber Singers, followed by Vivaldi's "Gloria," together with Pres. Bowen on the harpsichord and a professional chamber orchestra.

The Goucher Chorus will perform Leonard Bernstein's choral masterwork, "Chichester Psalms," with guest artists Jacqueline Pollauf, harp, Barry Dove, percussion; and Adam Detzner, organ. The choir will also give the world premiere of Deepak Ram's "Space Time." Ram, an accomplished soloist and master of the bansuri, will be performing with the choir.

The concert will close with Dan Forrest's "Sanctus," a reprise of a piece many members of the choir performed last year at Carnegie Hall.
