The Happiness Hunt is sponsored by The Student Counseling Center. It is a booth-style, 3-hour mental health event that is based on the 12 principles of happiness as put forth in Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky’s research. Several Goucher offices host the booths for the educational aspect of the event. There will also be fun and engaging activities that promote the overall theme of individual and community wellness. Therefore we will have emotional support dogs, a small petting zoo from a local farm, fun giveaways, open conversations with staff and peers, music, and a mini wellness market for students and staff to browse and purchase from local businesses that support wellness in some shape or form. The event will take place on April 9th 1-4pm both within the Athenaeum and outside on the patio next to the Athenaeum and Great Lawn.
