American Studies & Religion and Justice Programs are pleased to welcome the Participatory Action Research Center for Education (PARCEO) to facilitate Project48: The Palestinian Nakba. The 90-minute workshop introduces students to the robust Palestinian society that existed prior to the Nakba (catastrophe), the critical events leading up to and during 1948, and frameworks to better understand the ongoing nature of the Nakba and its devastating impact on Palestinian lives today.

Please note: Project48 will be followed by a second workshop from PARCEO on understanding antisemitism from an intersectional framework at 7:30 pm.
