 ography. Most selections were composed by two “giants” of the Greek compose
 rs\, Mikis Theodorakis and Stavros Xarhakos and will be interpreted by two 
 powerful and impassioned voices.\n\nAlkistis Protopsalti has commanded the 
 musical stage for more than 45 years and has proven to be a rare breed of G
 reek artist that enjoys a following of three generations! She has performed
  the world over sharing and thus broadening the understanding of Greek musi
 c and culture with international audiences. For this has been called a “Cul
 tural Ambassador” of Greece.\n\nDimitris Mpasis\, who 30 years ago began hi
 s career alongside Alkistis Protopsalti\, (making this performance a sentim
 ental journey for both)\, has established himself as one of Greece’s most p
 rominent vocalists of the younger generation. He stands apart not only for 
 his exceptional voice but also for his professional and artistic ethos.\n\n
 The meeting between Alkistis and Dimitri indeed promises the “Best of Greec
 e” both in artistic presentation and repertoire. The program will be based 
 on the songs of Greece’s most accomplished composers\, some of the newer ge
 neration as well and of course\, some selections from the two artists’ pers
