Reading by graphic novel artist Simon Schwartz: "The Other Side of the Wall"

Come and see German graphic novel artist Simon Schwartz on September 13 at 6:00 pm in the Batza Room. In this lecture, Schwartz will read from his work The Other Side of the Wall (German title: Drüben!), and he will also talk about the process that led to the creation of the graphic novel. Recently honored with the Independent Publisher Book Award (2016), the novel tells the narrative of the protagonist’s parents willingness to leave the communist side of the Wall in search of freedom.
