Saving What Matters

This is the culminating event of an international exchange project developed by a MACS alumni (Mike Vlahovich, '17) and funded through World Learning.  Our graduate students worked virtually with students at the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia to create digital stories of cultural heritage events and practitioners.  Our students (3 MACS and 1 MAM) traveled to Bosnia in May and five Bosnian students are coming to Maryland in June.  The Bosnian students are spending two weeks on Maryland's Eastern Shore with Mike's organization, Coastal Heritage Alliance, and will be sharing their experiences and their digital stories on June 23, 2018 in Kelley Lecture Hall between 7 and 9 PM.
