Transgender Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), which occurs annually on November 20, is a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia and to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.

Please join the Center for Race, Equity, and Identity and the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 4:30pm outside of the Chapel as we gather to remember those who have lost their lives due to transphobic violence. This is a public witness in support of transgender and gender non-binary people, to affirm their right to live productive and fulfilling lives free of bias, discrimination, and violence.

*The Center for Race, Equity, and Identity will be offering additional programs throughout the day. Please explore our Facebook for more events.
