Transgender Day of Remembrance: Lunch & Learn

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), which occurs annually on November 20, is a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia and to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.

On Monday, November 20, 2017 at 12:00-1:00pm in CREI-ATH 422, in recognition of TDOR, staff and faculty are welcome to bring their lunch and join CREI in a facilitated lunchtime discussion on supporting and affirming transgender and gender non-binary students and best practices for navigating microaggression and bias that arise within and outside of the classroom.

*The Center for Race, Equity, and Identity will be offering additional programs throughout the day. Please explore our Facebook for more events.
