Composer, trombonist, and educator Naomi Moon Siegel will present a workshop called "Gender Equality and The Feminine Principle In Jazz" in Merrick Lecture Hall on Tuesday, February 21 at 10 a.m. She will talk about gender equality in jazz from a personal and historical perspective and will also work with Goucher students on improvisation exercises to develop full self-expression. Ms. Siegel's appearance is sponsored by the Lectures and Fellowship Committee.
